Synchronous Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) brings your company the fastest and most reliable connection to the Internet without having to purchase a full T1 circuit. This connection can be shared across your entire network and is ideal for situations where guaranteed Internet speed is required.
SDSL service is run as a stand-alone circuit to your office and not over an existing phone line. This provides the cleanest signal for the data service and ensures top speed and performance. Unlike ADSL which has fast download speed and a slower upload speed, SDSL circuits are the same fast speed in both directions. This is ideal for VPN solutions, VOIP, web servers, and companies with heavy Internet use requirements.
SDSL service is available to clients within a one mile vicinity of an operational SDSL telephone company (Telco) facilities site. Currently 80% of the local Telco areas are covered by SDSL service. Some areas do not qualify for SDSL service. To find out if your company qualifies, please call our office and speak to a Technology Consultant. If you qualify, we can get you setup in approximately two weeks. If you do not qualify, we will be glad to explore other high-speed Internet options with you. Depending on your phone closet and network closet configuration, you might need to have an extension line run from your phone service access point to your network closet.
